Aero Medical Center

An Aeromedical Center (AeMC) is a specialized healthcare facility authorized by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation to conduct initial and periodic aviation health examinations for flight and aviation personnel and candidates, in accordance with relevant regulations (SHT-MED). These examinations are crucial for ensuring the safety and health standards required within the aviation industry.

These centers are equipped with state-of-the-art medical devices and equipment necessary for the comprehensive health evaluations of aviation personnel, including pilots. Health assessments are conducted across five main disciplines: Internal Medicine, Ophthalmology, Otolaryngology, Neurology, and Psychiatry. Each department is led by an Aeromedical Examiner who also serves as the chairman of the Medical Board.

Upon completion of the examinations, Aeromedical Centers generate routine medical documentation and a list of tests, issued in triplicate. One copy is retained within the center, another is submitted to the General Directorate of Civil Aviation via the Information Management System (IMS), and the final copy is provided to the applicant.

Our Aeromedical Centers cater to a wide array of aviation professionals associated with airline companies, flight and civil aviation schools, hot air balloon enterprises, airport administrations, and amateur sport aviation organizations. Services are provided to the following positions:
